New Orleans Drag King Collection Project
For the Newcomb College Center for Research on Women at Tulane University.
Role: Project Co-Director (2002-2005).

The New Orleans Drag King Collection Project seeks oral histories, personal papers, ephemera reflecting the community activities and personal experiences of members of the drag king performance culture in New Orleans from its beginnings in the late 1990s to the current day.

Know-How: An online interactive research tutorial
For the Ohio Dominican University Library.
Role: Website developer and information architect. [Practicum for M.L.I.S., 2003].

Under the direction of ODU Reference and Instruction Services Librarian Abbie Basile, I researched online library instruction tutorial models and best practices, developed the architecture for the Know How tutorial system, and designed the tutorial's first two modules on finding books and finding articles in the library's online catalog.

Projects for Community Research Partners
[2002-2003]

Student Mobility Research Project: I conducted and composed a literature review to contribute to this report. The review covered best practices to minimize student mobility and increase student retention.

Filing system: I developed a file-retrieval system for use in managing CRP's collection of files containing newsclippings and hard copies of research reports.
